A successful real estate professional, Dionne Wilson, has enabled Harcourts Victoria to achieve another milestone, with the opening of the first Harcourts office in the Melbourne CBD.

“I am delighted that new and existing clients in the Melbourne CBD will now have access to Harcourts’ cutting-edge technology, professional specialist divisions and international marketing exposure for their property,” Ms Wilson said.

Ms Wilson said that the arrival of Harcourts in the Melbourne CBD would change the way the industry operated in the area and cause the arrival of an exciting new era in real estate for Melbourne.

Ms Wilson entered the real estate industry when she was 21 years old and moved to Melbourne from Shepparton specifically to start working for K + P Smyth, who were Melbourne warehouse living specialists and also listed many Victorian and Edwardian homes through Collingwood and Fitzroy.

After a break from the industry, Ms Wilson rediscovered her true passion, and started working with a boutique agency in East Melbourne, where she established and grew the Property Management division and continued her successful sales career.

Ms Wilson was offered the unique opportunity to work with Stuart Robinson, the Business Owner at Harcourts Richmond, to effectively begin her business before the office opened.

According to Ms Wilson, the new office will specialise in apartment sales and leasing of all apartments ranging in size from 19m2 studios to 300m2 apartments, and ranging in style from student accommodation, serviced apartments, standard residential apartments and exclusive penthouse apartments.

“ The inner city has always been popular with investors and is becoming more and more popular with owner occupiers as people search for a low maintenance secure lifestyle close to the sites of their work and play,” she said.

Ms Wilson’s plans for the future include providing outstanding service to her clients with the advantage of having Harcourts’ market leading tools and systems to back her up, but also to be an employer of choice.

“I want to work with only the best, most passionate and most dedicated staff. I want to woo them and reward them with a happy, fun and successful environment, and a strong team culture,” she said.
